Hello! Okay that was just a lame greeting...Not that many people read my blog anyway...Now, down to business! Today in school, I was just walking in the hall way, and I realized something (yes, it was the Enlightenment for me!): there are not many different hairstyles in my school. This is true. Most girls have medium-long hair that is either straightened or curled. the other would have bobs or pixies, or if more radical, partly shaved. Yet they mostly distinguish from each other. It is all about your hair texture, color(s), and how you wear it. If you're expecting me to show you the shortcut for waterfall braids, I am deeply sorry because my arms usually give up before the water falls. But let me be your tiny voice, or ... urghh... inner voice (you know, like the angel and devil on your shoulders that usually appear in the movie...). Anyways, here are some tips for diversifying your hairstyles.
1. Braids
Braids are perfect for lighter hair or hair with highlights because the braids are more visible. Not that dark-haired girls cannot do braids - adding hair accessories can give you more accented hair (ex: bows=girly, trendy headbands=chic/cute, edgier studded hair accessories=punk/grunge, beret=classy/preppy,etc.)
2. Buns
Raise your hands up if you choose this option for bad hair days? Me!!! Well, besides helping you look presentable on the crappiest days, hair buns cool off your body in the summer; for winter, wearing a scarf will protect your neck from the cold and still keep rocking this hairdo. If you have not-so-slim face shape, instead of wearing your bun up and high in the center, wear a side bun with some accessories. This will distract attention from your angular jaws as well as cute-i-fy your look!

3. Ponytails
This style is also bad-hair-day friendly, although less tolerant because you still show the flow of your hair. However, the messier your hair is, the more natural it will look in a ponytail, or two ponytails (I recommend to wear two ponytails lower than your ears, you wouldn't want to look like a grade school-er!) You can spice things up a little by wearing a side ponytail. This trick also work as the side bun, and even easier!

4. Mini ponytail/bun
If your hair is too nice to be tied up today but you want to refresh your look, try a smaller ponytail or bun! This style is really cute, but do not overdo it if you don't want to look like a model from children's place! A picture is worth a thousand words, so why don't I just show you,

Hope you guys have a great time styling your hair!~^^ Remember, you do things best when you enjoy them!
