Have you ever seen movies that, more or less, make fun of blondies that are obsessed with pink? Did you avoid wearing pink sometimes because it's too girly? Did you avoid wearing statement pieces because they are too bold. Don't, because there's always a "pink" girl in everyone of us!
Want some more? Oooh kay...
I know many girls have rejected the idea of being girly, wearing frilly and lacy and lollipop-y clothes. They were the girls who stick to the shades of black, grey, or if they feel happy that day, light grey and white. I was one of those girls. My little sister is one. The tomboy phase can happen to anyone! Now I know there would be teenagers going "This is ridiculous! Just because I don't like pink doesn't mean I'm stuck with emo colors." Chill out! I was only exaggerating the issue a bit. What I'm trying to say is, there would always be some kind of clothing that makes you go "urghh", but don't be afraid to try them out!! Take a look at the items below and give it a shot.
1. Boho pants
I wore boho pants the other day, and one guy in my Biology class asked if they were bell pants. NO THEY ARE NOT!
- Unlike Bell, Boho doesn't give off the aura of Boogie Era. They both show off (and even enhance) your bottom's curves but Boho don't expose your sometimes-not-so-gappy-or-sexy thighs.
- Short girls no worries! I am 5'2 (including my shoes) and I look just fine in THE PANTS. Just for your information, my legs are NOT proportionately long compared to my body. This is where Sir High-Waisted become your bestie! Not only he compliments your legs (or hide your big calves-no offense, just do squat *wink wink*), high-waisted boho pants could be very elegant and professional (like dress pants!). Make sure you choose the right material, and solid colors are a safer alternative for beginners. Mine was gabardine (fabric) and burgundy, studded with three ring-size gold hoops in the front. I mixed them with a black velvet v-neck tank top with lace trim. Oh, for a shortie like me, i had to tuck the shirt in. Trust me, it brought my style and figure to a whole new level.
- The best thing about these pants is they are super comfy!!! I literally can do yoga in them.

2. Neon
Afraid that the brightness will takeover your skin tone? Choose your favorite neon color! Mine is Victoria's secret's neon pink. Oh, keep in mind that you don't overdose yourself with neon, unless you're going for a rainbow-unicorn look this Halloween. Go classic with black-neon and white-neon. White can go with any color, and is suitable for a gloomy day (trust me, you can brighten up a special someone with white and neon hahaha). Black and a pop of neon is perfect for a gym's color palette.
Oh.My.God. I LOVE the jacket! and the beauty on the right is my favorite model too! I am obsessed with Korean entertainment industry. Anyway, yeah, try out all shades of neon.
3. Be a lipstick babe
Okay, I'm gonna be brief on this one, since I have school tomorrow. Invest on your lipsticks ladies. Apply lipstick to the entire lips using darker, redder shades for a vintage, grunge, or ballroom kinda look. Nude or lighter pink/orange give off that beachy feel. My favorite is gradient lips - again, an influence from Korean ulzzangs (look it up, you might fall in love with them).

So gals, which change do you want to make for your look first?
